One of GCHSC’s main efforts is to help improve the overall health of women of childbearing age (15-44) by introducing them to total approach to wellness.

SPEAKERS, PRESENTERS, SINGERS, DANCE GROUPS and more came together to empower women to make wise choices regarding their health and well-being. The goal is to encourage the ladies in our community to see their self-worth… …Empowering women with Knowledge, Community, & Inspiring Words to LIVE by.

FREE health walk at Tanyard Creek Park in Quincy, Florida!

The Gadsden County Healthy Start Coalition, Investing In Our Youth’s Girls Elite Program, MAACA Inc., New Life Ministries and the Florida Dept. of Health – Gadsden County brought together key speakers, live performers, major stakeholders, community leaders, medical experts, public policy makers, and grassroots organizations to heighten awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early testing/detection and treatment among our women and girls.
