Working with the Community

GCHSC members offer input to improve our way of life in Gadsden County. We maintain partnerships with community organizations and individuals who are committed to a common goal: to maximize community resources. By working together, the Coalition assesses the needs of the community, develops a plan to deliver quality services, and works hard to ensure the plan is functional.

Educational Workshops & Community Events

The annual Community Baby Shower provides parents, caregivers and future parents with fun, interactive parenting education sessions and baby items to families in need. The RedHEALS Events bring key speakers, live performers, community leaders and medical experts to increase awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early testing/detection and treatment among women and girls.
