The Coalition provides educational workshops, brings agency leaders and medical experts to speak at community events, and works to increase awareness of local resources available to families. GCHSC also provides trainings for organizations and local businesses working with families.

Every third Thursday of the month, Our Lunch and Learn Series features medical professionals, content experts, industry leaders and more, who provide information to help us accomplish our goal of educating our communities.

Previous Workshops
1. Trainings in the areas of Cultural Competency, Medicaid Updates, Mental Health, Children’s Health, and more were provided for agencies working with families in Gadsden County.
2. We promoted Awareness campaigns in the form of: Audio-Visual commercials, social media, print materials and more were developed and aired to educate women and families about health, health-care, and resources available to Gadsden County residents.
3. We have provided Childbirth Education and Car Seat Classes: Classes were held for families in the hospitals, community events and more.
